What is a hosted AI workspace?
A hosted AI workspace brings an AI assistant and a working computer environment together in your browser. The assistant can work on files, run commands and help you build an application. Hosting gives the result somewhere to run after the conversation ends.
One Small Prompt sets up a private Linux workspace for your business. You open it from a phone or computer, describe what you want, review the work and decide when to publish. You do not need to install a development environment or rent and configure a VPS yourself.
Think of it as a place to build and operate your business: a website today, then an application, customer portal or internal system as your needs develop. Those are projects you build with your AI, not a set of finished applications automatically included with every account.
From a conversation to something that runs.
Start with the outcome you want and who it is for. For example: “I’m starting a photography business. Help me build a portfolio website and a private place to keep client project notes. Ask me what you need before making changes.”
In a paid workspace, your AI can inspect the project, edit real files and use the workspace terminal. You can preview the result, test a task yourself and ask for a change. Publishing is a separate decision you make after reviewing the work.
Your files and application data persist in the workspace, so you can return and keep building. Available AI choices are shown in the workspace before you send a request. Claude, OpenAI and DeepSeek are offered through OSP; availability and capabilities can vary by mode. Your project files stay in the workspace when you change an available AI provider.

Which setup fits where you are?
OSP’s current plans provide isolated workspaces on managed infrastructure, rather than an entire dedicated VPS. A plan supports one live application, which can contain multiple pages and business workflows. Read the workspace details before choosing.
What does it cost to get started?
Try the free preview without a card: up to 3 builds or changes within 10 AI replies. It lets you explore the AI and a draft. The private Linux environment, terminal, persistent application data and live hosting belong to a paid workspace; there is no automatic purchase.
The live plans and pricing show the available packages, monthly USD price, storage and domain connections. Choose the capacity you need there; the purchase review confirms the package before payment.
Higher plans add working capacity, storage, included AI usage and custom hostnames. Review the current allowances and choose your starting AI before signing up. After payment is authorized, workspace setup is automatic.
Hosting and bounded monthly AI usage are bundled in the subscription. AI use pauses when the allowance is exhausted; there are no automatic overage charges. Domain registration and third-party services can have separate charges. Connecting Stripe, email or another business service requires the appropriate account and configuration.

Is One Small Prompt a website builder?
You can build a website in OSP, but the workspace also exposes the code, files, data and commands behind it. You can keep developing a running application after the first page is made. Compare a website builder with an AI workspace.
Do I need to set up a VPS or install an AI coding agent?
No. OSP prepares the hosted environment and browser interface. You can begin by describing a change, then inspect files and command output as you learn. The workspace is isolated on managed infrastructure; it is not a dedicated VPS with unrestricted root access.
Can I use it from my phone?
Yes. The browser workspace opens on a phone or computer. The separately available iPhone app is a different product; its local workshop is not the same as the hosted Linux workspace.
Does my website go live automatically?
No. Building, checking and publishing are separate steps. You review the result and explicitly publish when ready. Follow the first-project walkthrough.
Do I need a separate AI subscription?
The paid workspace bundles hosting and a monthly AI allowance. You do not need a separate consumer chat subscription for the AI usage included in that package. It is not unlimited AI use, and third-party accounts or services you connect can cost extra.
Bring the idea. Keep the decisions yours.
You do not need to know every technical term to begin. Bring a clear description of your customer, the problem you want to solve and the first thing they should be able to do. Your AI can help work through the implementation.
You still decide what the business offers, check that the result works and approve publishing. Private customer information needs appropriate access controls. AI-generated work needs testing before you rely on it.
